The X-bird on a pile of treasure
The X-Bird is a minor character on Tiny Toon Adventures. She is a large flightless bird with green eyes, magenta feathers, and X-shaped claws, and the only inhabitant of Booty Island. She is voiced by Frank Welker.

The X-Bird appears in the Season 1 episode No Toon Is An Island. When Buster and his friends go to Booty Island, Plucky tries to find the treasure for himself. The X-Bird's claws make X-shaped prints, constantly misleading Plucky. Meanwhile, Buster, Babs, and Hamton mistake her for the legendary green-eyed monster and hide in a tree. A tree next to the one they hide in turns out to form the X where the treasure is. Buster and his friends split the treasure evenly. That night, the X-Bird steals Babs', Plucky's, and Hamton's shares of the treasure. The next morning, Babs, Plucky, and Hamton blame Buster, ignoring the facts that he was asleep all night and he still has the same amount of treasure he had before. During their fight, the X-Bird steals Buster's share of treasure and they follow her. They find out she stole the treasure to build her nest. Unfortunately, she built her nest on top of a volcano due to erupt. Buster and his friends evacuate the island, taking her and the treasure with them. As they make it back to their tugboat, the S.S. Tiny Tub, it begins to sink. Plucky suggests tossing the X-Bird overboard, but Babs disapproves, so they all sacrifice the treasure instead. On their way home, Plucky has snuck what looks like rubies aboard, but they turn out to be the X-Bird's eggs. Babs congratulates the X-Bird (After realizing the Bird is a She.) on being a mother, but Plucky is left to take care of her babies.
