The Buster Bunny Bunch/Transcript

Act One

(The episode begins with a view of various colored rabbit ears, in a parody of The Mickey Mouse Club, and the camera moves downwards to reveal Buster's face. It then cuts to Buster dressed as a parade leader, between Elmyra Duff and Mary Melody)

Chorus (sining): "The Buster Bunny Bunch, the Buster Bunny Bunch!"

(The camera cuts to a view of Hamton clones dressed in red clown suits playing horns with banners with the initials, B.B. on them. It then cuts to a view of a Hamton-shaped balloon)

Chorus (singing): "Meet the funny bunny who's a really nifty guy,"

(The Hamton balloon turns to reveal the word, BUSTER written on its bottom. The balloon gets closer to the screen, until it bursts, and the word, BUNNY appears onscreen in cloud form)

Chorus (singing): "B-U-S-T-E-R B-U-N-N-Y!"

(The camera cuts to a view of Buster on the right side of the screen, conducting the chorus on the left side, consisting of Shirley, Fifi, Babs, Mary, and Elmyra)

Chorus (singing): "He's the hare beyond compare, on that you can rely,"

(Elmyra jumps at Buster, but he dodges her and runs away. The camera then cuts to a view of giant black letters of Buster's first name in red boxes, the letters of which turn yellow as Buster hops across them)

Chorus (singing): "B-U-S-T-E-R B-U-N-N-Y!"

(The camera cuts to a view of Mary, Shirley, Fifi, and Elmyra (who now has a bandaged head and her right arm in a sling), marching in a spotlight. Mary and Elmyra are holding up a sign that says, BUSTER BUNNY as Buster jumps in the middle of the spotlight)

Chorus (singing): "Buster Bunny,"

Plucky Duck (swinging by on a rope): "Plucky Duck!"

(Buster runs away. The camera then cuts to a close-up of Plucky on the rope, then to a view of Buster pulling in a gong, which Plucky swings into, breaking himself into little pieces)

Chorus (singing): "Buster Bunny,"

Plucky Duck: "Plucky Duck!"

Chorus (singing): "That Plucky Duck is running out of luck!"

(The camera cuts to a close-up of Babs)

Chorus (singing): "Who's the greatest rabbit?"

(Fifi, Hamton, Dizzy, and Sweetie, who are all dressed in white rabbit ears, appear onscreen)

Chorus (singing): "We'll give you a reply,"

(The letters that spell Buster's name appear onscreen as the chorus sings them)

Chorus (singing): "B-U-S-T-E-R B-U-N-N-Y!"

(Buster appears onscreen, sitting above his first name and zooms in onscreen twice. He then stands on his first name, which lowers offscreen, causing him to fall. His second name rises up and launches him offscreen, then turns into the word, BUNCH)

Chorus (singing): "Buster, Buster, Buster Bunny Bunch!"

(The camera cuts to a view of an angry Plucky about to ring the gong, but Buster lands on both him and the gong)

Buster: "Hey hey, Bunny bunchers! We've got some great cartoons today!"

(The camera cuts to a close-up of Buster)

Buster: "So, on with the show!"

(The screen fades to black(\)
