Segments[]

Plucky's Dastardly Deed[]

It's final exams week at Acme Looniversity, and Plucky has once again forgot to study. Foghorn Leghorn notices the large amount of crib notes tucked away in Plucky's tank top, and forbids Plucky from cheating. As Plucky has forgotten to study, he doesn't know any of the answers to the questions on the test.

When the test is over, Plucky still hasn't written anything. Foghorn assigns him to pass the papers up to him. Plucky is still stumped for a solution, so his two guardian devils tell him he could switch his paper with one of theirs. Plucky doesn't think it's a bad idea, but he needs someone smart to switch his paper with. He sees Egghead Jr, the smartest kid in the classroom, and decides to switch papers with him. As Foghorn is grading the papers, Plucky sneaks into his desk drawer to switch his paper with Egghead Jr's. When Foghorn notices him and becomes suspicious, Plucky tells him he forgot to sign his name.

On his way home, Plucky begins to feel guilty for cheating on his test. He decides the only way to make the guilt go away is to confess to the next person he sees. Unfortunately, he sees Egghead Jr and runs away. He stops at a pet store, where a talking parrot repeatedly says, "Cheap." Plucky is worried that even the parrot knows he cheated. When Plucky leaves, the Parrot says, "Talking parrot for sale. Cheap." When Plucky runs and accidentally bumps into a lady, he returns her purse, and the lady praises him for being honest, which makes him feel more guilty than ever. Even his guardian devils taunt him.

That night, Plucky goes to sleep, hoping tomorrow he will forget all about cheating. He dreams that it is Senior Graduation Night at Acme Looniversity. When Plucky is called up, Foghorn hands him a diploma that says, "Cheaters NEVER Graduate". He is then chased by several Foghorns that repeatedly chant, "Cheater!" Plucky wakes up and decides that he will confess to Foghorn.

The next morning, the students are awaiting their test results, and some of them are worried they didn't do so well. Foghorn announces to the students that on his way home, he accidentally dropped his suitcase in a mud puddle, and inside the case was the exam papers. Because this happened before he could look at them, he assigns his students to retake the test. Plucky ignores his guardian devils and decides to retake the test the honest way, no matter how bad a grade he'll get.

Open and Shut Case[]

For receiving the highest grades in class, Granny rewards Hamton with Acme Looniversity's first highly-advanced Acme Wonder Locker. Granny gives him the manual so he can operate the locker, and reminds him to take care of school property. He enters the combination sequence and stores his lunch and the manual (by accident). Then he rushes off to class.

Several Minutes before lunch, Hamton thinks about the food he's going to eat. When the lunch bell rings, he rushes off to his locker and enters the combination. Unfortunately, the locker tells him he has entered the incorrect combination. After a couple of unsuccessful attempts, Hamton decides to check the manual. Unfortunately, he has accidentally locked it in. He tries to pull the locker open, but it won't budge, and he accidentally pulls the handle off.

With only fifteen minutes of lunch period left, Hamton gets some tools to dissect his locker. Hamton remembers that Granny reminded him to take good care of school property, but he is too angry and hungry to listen to her. The locker tells him he is an intruder, and foils his every attempt to dissect him. Outraged, Hamton gets a crane to lift the locker. The locker threatens to report him to the principal, but Hamton is too angry and hungry to listen. He grabs every locker in the hall with the magnet, but the heavy load causes the crane's rope to break, and it drops the load back down. Hamton's locker finally surrenders the lunch, and Hamton says, "Sure, I got a little peeved, but for olive loaf, it's worth it." The Locker faints at the sound of olive loaf.

C Flat or B Sharp[]

The piano movers left the piano for the music hall on the clock tower again, which outrages Yosemite Sam. He assigns Buster, Plucky, and Hamton to get it down.

Buster's first plan is to fill the clock tower with water, and drill a hole in the side of the tower to drain it. Buster and Hamton fill the tower with water, and Plucky drills the hole. They move the piano into the water-filled tower, and as Plucky and Hamton pull the plug, all the water and the piano escape out the hole and flatten them.

With the piano on the ground, Buster, Plucky, and Hamton take it to the music hall from there. As they take the piano across the hall, Fifi La Fume is skipping, Dizzy, Furrball and Monty are asleep, and her smell (while doing a pirouette) drives them away. Meanwhile, Pete Puma the janitor has just finished cleaning the windows, and has left the last one open. As Buster, Plucky, and Hamton move the piano, it goes down the stairs, and Buster stops it before it falls out the window. As it teeters over the edge, Yosemite Sam is in the music hall, waiting for it.

Buster and Hamton tie an Acme rocket to the piano and light it, which unjams the piano and sends it flying all over Acme Looniversity, eventually stopping between the elevators. As Buster, Plucky, and Hamton go through study hall, Hamton's overalls have come undone and get caught in the doors. They struggle to get through, and the doors open, launching Hamton back and sending him and the piano all over Acme Looniversity. Buster tires to stop it, but the piano gets him caught in an elevator. Plucky goes into a phone booth to transform into a superhero and stop the piano, but with no success. The piano continues to roll across Acme Looniversity and eventually makes it to the music hall. It lands on Yosemite Sam and falls apart, but the audience applauds Buster, Plucky, and Hamton for successfully delivering the piano.

Allusions[]
