Shirley's Aura seducing Plucky
Shirley's Aura is Shirley the Loon's Aura that appeared in the "New Character Day" episode segment "The Return of Pluck Twacy".
About[]
Shirley's Aura ran away from Shirley and joined a gang of vicious criminals and cutthroats. Shirley tries to hire Plucky (playing "Pluck Twacy") to go after her and bring her home, and although he initially refuses, he eventually agrees.
Shirley's Aura is first seen outside of the mansion owned by the villains along with one of the other criminals. Upon Plucky's arrival, they run inside and two cannons shoot at Plucky before he makes it inside. As he investigates, Shirley's Aura manages to sneak up on him and attempts to smash a safe on his head, only for Plucky to surprise her by suddenly shouting in her face, causing her to drop the safe. He tells her that he's taking her back home with him, and she initially refuses and says he'll never take her back, before suddenly stopping herself. She begins to seduce Plucky, speaking in a soft soothing voice, claiming she is glad he came for her because the criminals actually kidnapped her, and wants him to help her escape. She drags Plucky away while flirting with him and tricks him into standing in front of a revolving wall, and while his guard is down she pulls a lever, causing the wall to activate and sending Plucky into another room surrounded by criminals.
After Plucky defeats Ticklepuss, Shirley's Aura shows up and grabs Plucky while he is dazed and places hi in a guillotine, attempting to behead him. However, he recovers just in time and stops the blade with an army hat, before yelling in her face that the games are over and he's taking her home whether she wants to or not. She starts to argue back with him, before once again seducing Plucky, rubbing cheeks with him and agreeing to his demand, but asking to first let her gaze at him. Plucky is love-struck and melts in her grasp, before she activates a trapdoor and sends him sliding down a chute.
After Plucky defeats Boxcars, Shirley's Aura appears again, holding a mallet over her head at him. As he laughs at her for thinking "one itty-bitty mallet" can stop him, she just smirks at him until he notices a large group of other villains are with her and all have multiple mallets of their own. Plucky is powerless to stop them as they assault him, causing him to wake up from his dream.
Trivia[]
- Shirley's Aura resembles The Female Pigeon (Hatta Mari) from the 1944 Daffy Duck cartoon, "Plane Daffy", with the exceptions of her bow being pink instead of black, her gloves being black instead of dark red, and her speaking in a New York accent instead of a German accent.
- Shirley's Aura appears briefly again in the episode "Best O' Plucky Duck Day" segment, "Sticky Feathers Duck", when she refuse to help Plucky steal a candy bar. This time instead of looking like the one in "The Return of Pluck Twacy". she looks like a purple version of Shirley.
- Shirley's Aura made her first appearance in the episode "Test Stress" episode segments "Never Too Late to Loon" and "To Bleep or Not to Bleep".
