Elmyra: "I have a call here for 'Ima Yutz'. 'Ima Yutz'?"
Buster: "Just run the last cartoon!"
(Buster's left foot gets caught in the phone cord, which pulls him away.)
Buster: "Oh."
(The camera zooms in on the $000,000.07 grand total, and the screen fades to black)
The Kite[]
(The title card is shown, which shows Buster flying a kite and the moth flying next to it. After the title card is shown, the screen fades to black, then to the next scene, at the F.A.T. KATZ toy store. The camera zooms out on a butterfly-shaped kite as Hamton picks it out from the store window. It then focuses on him as he walks across the street, carrying the kite. As he crosses a crosswalk, two cars screech to a halt so as not to hit him. When he reaches the other side, he passes by a sign that says, NO FIRES DOGS CAMPING KITE FLYING in red letters. The camera cuts to an opposing view as he walks down the stairs, and when he reaches the bottom, he is on the sand of the beach. It then cuts to different views of him as he starts flying the kite. When the kite reaches a clothesline at the top floor of an apartment building, the camera zooms in on a purple moth preparing to eat a purple sheet. The kite flies past him, and he stops. He looks at the kite, and thinks it is a giant butterfly. The camera focuses on him as he flies up to the kite. He moves in front of the kite, but aside from just flying, the kite doesn't really move. The camera cuts to a zoomed-out view as The Moth laughs. The kite them moves into The Moth, and the camera cuts to a view of the dizzy Moth. It then focuses on him as he regains his consciousness, then backs up to try to fly into the kite. Unfortunately, the Moth backs into a Seagull. The Seagull wipes his beak with his tongue, indicating that he plans to eat the Moth. The Moth climbs onto the Seagull's beak and stares in shock. The camera focuses on both the Moth and the Seagull as the Seagull chases the Moth to try to eat him. Eventually, the Moth pants heavily, relieved that he lost the Seagull, or so he thinks. The Seagull continues to chase the Moth, then the Moth moves past the kite, which the Seagull bumps into. The camera then cuts to a zoomed-out view as the Seagull falls, then to a view of the Moth, who is still flying away. The Moth stops to look at the kite, then the camera cuts back to the kite as the Seagull walks in mid-air, clenching his fists to indicate him challenging the kite to a fight. The Seagull tries to punch the kite, but misses, as the kite moves out of the way. The kite then hits the Seagull, and the camera cuts to a view of the Moth, who is rooting for the kite. It then cuts back to the Seagull and the kite as the Seagull pounces at and wrestles the kite, but to no avail. The kite then wraps up the Seagull in its tail and spins him. The kite then flies into the dizzy Seagull, and the camera focuses on the Seagull as he falls, cutting to a view of Hamton when the Seagull lands in the sand next to him. The camera then cuts back to the Moth, who is happy for the kite's victory. It focuses on him as he flies up to the kite to give it a hug, then the camera moves down to Hamton and cuts to a view of him as he walks backwards into the Seagull, who is still buried in the sand. He sits on top of his feet, then gets off and spins the feet. After the feet are spun, he sits back down on them. However, spinning the Seagull's feet was a big mistake for Hamton, as when he sits down, the feet spin him. The camera cuts back to the kite, which is now spinning, then to the Moth, who is holding onto the kite for his life. The camera then cuts back to Hamton as the Seagull's feet stop spinning, and Hamton is dizzy. He falls over, then the camera cuts to an overhead view of the kite, which has broken free from its string as it continues spinning. It then cuts to a view of the Moth, who lets go of the kite, and the kite flies away. The camera then focuses on the kite as it flies downwards, then it cuts to the Moth, who decides to chase after it. The camera cuts to a view of the kite as it flies downwards, and the Moth tries to catch it. It then cuts to a view of the moth, who has finally caught up to it as they float downwards, and focuses on him when the kite flies past him, but he catches up to it anyway. It then cuts to an overhead view of a fishing boat, then back to the kite as The Moth tries to get it to fly again by flapping its wing. This, of course, doesn't work. The Moth then goes under the kite to try to lift it, but he is not strong enough. The kite continues to float downwards, and the Moth grabs its string. The camera then cuts to various view of the waves as the Moth and the kite fly over them. The Moth holds onto the kite's string for his life. The camera then cuts to an overhead view of the city and focuses on the kite as it flies upwards. It then cuts to a view of the kite making a U-turn, followed by a view of two apartment buildings. It then cuts to a view of the Moth, who is now holding onto the kite's tail, and is very scared, followed by various views of the kite flying past the clotheslines hanging between the two buildings. The camera continues to focus on the kite as it flies past the apartment buildings, one of which has a cat who tries to grab the Moth, but to no avail, and another of which has a lady dumping out a bucket of water, which misses the kite and the Moth. The camera cuts to a view of the road and continues focusing on the kite as it flies lower, eventually flying under a truck. The kite's string gets caught on the truck, then the camera cuts to an opposing view at the truck pulls the kite across the road, followed by a view of the truck's backside as the kite weaves from side to side, dodging a car going in the opposite direction. The camera then cuts to an overhead view of the truck as it continues pulling the kite, with the Moth continuing to hold onto its tail for his life. It then cuts to a view of a red traffic light, then moves downward as the truck screeches to a halt. The kite hits the back of the truck, then the camera cuts to a zoomed-in view of it as it falls, revealing the Moth, who is flattened, but still alive, on the back of the truck. The camera then cuts to a zoomed-out view as the kite falls, with its string surrounding a nearby fire hydrant, then to a view of the traffic light, which turns green. It then cuts to a view of the back of the truck, which drives away, but since the kite is tangled up in the hydrant, the string breaks. The camera then cuts back to the Moth, who regains consciousness again, then stares in shock. The camera then cuts to a view of the kite as a human man in a green shirt and blue jeans walks over it, trampling it. A Fat lady in a pink coat and a dark-skinned man in a brown jacket and blue jeans follow him, also walking over the kite and trampling it. The camera then cuts back to the Moth, who manages to get himself off the back of the truck, then flies away. It then cuts to a view of the trampled kite as the Moth flies back to it, narrowly avoiding a human in a red shirt and blue jeans who also walks over it and tramples it. The Moth pulls the kite away before another human in purple jeans can trample it, and the camera focuses on him as he pulls the kite away, avoiding having him and/or the kite being trampled by the walking humans, until he reaches an air vent. The camera then cuts to a view of the air vent as the Moth pulls the kite over and gets on top of it. The wind from the air vent pushes the kite upwards, then the camera cuts to a view of some dark storm clouds as the kite flies away. It then focuses on the kite as it flies out of the city and into the forest, then cuts to a view of the Moth, who is once again, holding onto the kite for his life. Thunder booms and lightning flashes, then it starts to rain. The camera cuts to an overhead view of the countryside, then focuses on the kite as it and the Moth fly over it. It then cuts to a side view of the kite and focuses on it as it continues to fly through the forest, followed by a view of its backside as it and the Moth fly past some scary-looking trees, which have lost all their leaves. Thunder booms and lightning flashing, then the camera cuts to a view of the kite and focuses on it as t starts to fly downwards again, with thunder booming and lightning flashing as it does. The camera then cuts to a view of the kite in the forest and focuses on it as it flies past more scary-looking trees, one of which has a branch that resembles an arm with a hand trying to grab it, but to no avail. The camera then cuts to a view of the kite's backside as it flies past more scary-looking trees, some of which have leaves with patches in them that resemble scary pairs of eyes, and more branches that resemble arms. The camera then cuts to a view of wooden planks forming the shape of a house. Thunder booms and lightning crashes as the kite flies over it, then the camera cuts to a view of a mud puddle as the kite finally lands in it. The Moth gets out of the mud puddle, but the kite falls over him. The camera zooms in on the Moth as he pulls the kite up to recover himself, then cuts to an opposing view as the Moth finds a cardboard box that they can take shelter in until the rain stops. Thunder booms and lightning flashes, then the camera cuts to a view of the moth as he pulls the kite into the box. It then cuts to a zoomed-out view as the Moth continues to pull the kite, and thunder booms and lightning flashes again, followed by a view inside the box as the Moth finishes, followed by an opposing view as the Moth pulls the kite over his head like a blanket. Thunder booms and lightning flashes again as the Moth climbs over the kite, then the camera cuts to a zoomed-in view as the moth notices a big hole in the kite. He tries to patch the hole, but the kite's patch pushes him away. The camera then cuts to a zoomed-out view as the Moth falls over, followed by a zoomed-in view and an opposing one, the last of which shows the Moth crying, sure that the kite did not survive its adventure. The Moth cries, then the camera cuts to an opposing view as thunder booms and lightning flashes yet again. The camera zooms in on the storm, then eventually, the storm passes. When the sun is out, the camera cuts to a view of the box as Buster walks up to it. He looks inside and sees the kite)
Buster: "Wow!"
(The camera cuts to a view inside the box as the Moth has fallen asleep. Buster takes the damaged kite)
Buster: "A kite!"
(The camera cuts to a view of Buster as he sets the kite down on the box)
Buster: "All it needs is some tape..."
(Buster puts tape on the kite to patch it up)
Buster: "And some paint..."
(Buster pulls out a paintbrush with pink paint, which he uses to paint the kite)
Buster: "And it'll be good as new!"
(Buster picks up the kite, and continues painting it)
Buster: "There! All fixed and ready to go!"
(The kite now has a pink face with a smile on it. Buster walks away, carrying the kite, then the camera cuts to a view of him, focusing on him as the flies the kite across the forest. It then cuts to a view of the kite flying in the sky, then moves downwards to the box, then cuts to the Moth, who is still sleeping inside. When he awakens, he is shocked to find the kite missing. He flies out of the box, then the camera cuts to a view outside the box as he continues looking for the kite there, followed by a view of the kite flying in the sky. It then cuts back to the Moth, who is glad to see the kite looking good as new, then cuts to an opposing view of him, focusing on him as he flies upwards towards the kite. It then cuts to a view of the kite, focusing on it as it continues to fly in the sky, then it cuts to different views of the kite, one of which has the Moth giving it a hug. The camera then cuts to a zoomed-out view as the Moth and the kite fly off together. The screen irises out on the kite, and the credits roll)
