Love Disconnection is the 10th episode of the second season of Tiny Toon Adventures, and the 75th episode overall.

Episode Segments
My Dinner With Elmyra
A double-length episode segment. Montana Max is relaxing in his pool, when his Mother tells him that she and his Father are having dinner with a nice couple across town. She tells him that the couple has a cute daughter, and Monty immediately gets prepared. When the daughter arrives, it turns out to be Elmyra Duff, much to Monty's horror. Monty refuses to go on a date with her, but his mother tells him that Elmyra's parents are close friends of her and his father. She makes him go on a date with her, threatening to take away his allowance if he refuses. Monty reluctantly accepts and decides to take Elmyra to dinner and a movie.
Monty tries to ruin his date by taking Elmyra to Weenie Burger. Unfortunately, his plan backfires, as Elmyra loves Weenie Burger's happy baby puppy-face meals. Inside Weenie Burger, Elmyra makes Monty buy a happy baby puppy face meal for her. All the Tiny Toons laugh at Monty for doing so. Fowlmouth and Dizzy in particular tease Monty for going on a date with Elmyra, singing, "Monty and Elmyra, sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G! First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes Monty with a baby carriage!" Elmyra likes the song, but Monty is outraged and humiliated. prompting him to throw both Fowlmouth and Dizzy into the garbage bin, much to their anger. However, Buster begins singing, "Monty and Elmyra," and the other Tiny Toons join in. Not even the kind-hearted Mary Melody could resist teasing Monty!
In the second act, Monty and Elmyra are at the Acme Acres cinema. Monty is excited to see Deathlords, but Elmyra has already paid for the movie tickets. Monty, believing she wanted to see Deathlords, joins her. When they arrive at the theater, Monty is outraged to find out they're seeing The Adventures of Fido and Mewmew. Elmyra likes Fido and Mewmew, and dislikes Deathlords, because (quite ironically) she hates violence. Monty rips up the movie screen and escapes from the theater. He calls Grovely to pick him up, which Grovely does so, but Monty is shocked to find Elmyra in the limo. Grovely was assigned to take Elmyra home.
Monty is relieved that the date is almost over, but he has one last part of the date, walking Elmyra to the door of her house with a goodnight kiss. Elmyra kisses Monty, who attempts to seltzer her, but is stood still by her kiss. Monty goes back into his limo and says to himself, "I think I'm in love!"
The Amazing Three
Babs Bunny and Shirley the Loon are looking for sophisticated older boys to date, as Buster, Plucky and Hamton are playing a game of "Will Dizzy Eat It?", by feeding Dizzy Devil certain things, such as a stealth bomber. Fifi La Fume tells Babs and Shirley that she got an invitation to the senior dance at Perfecto Prep. Babs asks how she got the invitation, and Fifi tells her that she skipped to the mailman, like she always does, and the mailman dropped his bag and ran, like he always does. That night, Babs asks her father to drop her, Fifi, and Shirley off at The Lady of Acme Church Social Bingo, as she doesn't want him to suspect they're going to Perfecto Prep. When he leaves, they go to Perfecto Prep in search of "love from older boys." They get their hair fixed (using the Acme Little Wonder make-up kit, a special make-up kit) in order to meet their mission with success. However, things don't go well at all. Babs encounters a large senior, who tells her that "little girls" aren't allowed. Shirley, determined to have success, inquires an older duck his symbol. The duck immediately goes into length about his symbol, to which Shirley is utterly confused and in the episode is seen to regress into an infant. Fifi is chased by older boy skunk, and he spills punch over Shirley. Her psychic powers are activated, and she causes lightning to appear all over Perfecto Prep, which starts to burn.
Back at Weenie Burger, Buster, Plucky, and Hamton are once again playing "Will Dizzy Eat it?". Babs catches up to the boys saying, "I guess we should stay at our immature ages for a little longer." Babs tosses the Acme Little Wonder make-up box into the air, asking, "Will Dizzy eat it?" Dizzy unknowingly tears it up, only to end up looking very feminine. The episode ends with Dizzy being chased by several male Perfecto Prep alumni.

- In the double-length episode segment, My Dinner With Elmyra, Weenie Burger's happy baby puppy-face meal is a parody of the popular McDonald's happy meal. In the 1990's, McDonald's had several Tiny Toon Adventures happy meal promotions.
- In the double-length episode segment, My Dinner with Elmyra, the movie, The Adventures of Fido and Mewmew is a parody of the 1986 Japanese live-action film, The Adventures of Milo and Otis, which got an American-dubbed release in 1989.
- In the episode segment, The Amazing Three, Babs attempts to pick up a guy using Lauren Bacall's "You know how to whistle?" quote from To Have and Have Not.
- In the episode segment, The Amazing Three, Shirley's tantrum is reminiscent of the 1976 movie, Carrie (only with punch instead of pig's blood). Babs even asks Fifi if she's seen that particular movie.
Trivia
- The double-length episode segment, My Dinner With Elmyra is one of two episode segments that depicts Montana Max as the main protagonist (the other being the Playtime Toons episode segment, Fit To Be Toyed). On the show, it's because Monty's parents finally assert themselves into his life. In real life, it's because Danny Cooksey, Monty's voice actor, complained about "always playing the bad guy".
- The episode segment, The Amazing Three is one of the few episode segments where Montana Max is seen getting along with Buster and his friends.
- In the episode segment, The Amazing Three, Uncle Stinky Pig is at the entrance of the Lady of Acme Church Social Bingo, but he doesn't look sloppy like he usually does.
- The episode segment, The Amazing Three marks the first (and only) appearance of Shirley the Loon as a baby.
- The episode segment, The Amazing Three marks the second appearance of Babs' Father, who was previously seen in the Dating, Acme Acres Style episode segment, Buster's Guide to Dating. However, in The Amazing Three, he is shown to be the size of a normal anthropomorphic rabbit, instead of the Monster-like rabbit he was previously shown as in Buster's Guide to Dating.
- Mark Watters was awarded a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Music Direction and Composition for this episode.
