BlinkWinkleman

Blink Winkleman, as seen in the The Wheel O' Comedy episode segment, Win, Lose, or Kerplowie!

Blink Winkleman is a game show host who appears in several episodes of Tiny Toon Adventures. He is voiced by Rob Paulsen.

Appearances on the Show[]

In the The Wheel o' Comedy episode segment, Win, Lose, or Kerplowie! (a parody of the game show, Win, Lose, or Draw!), he is the host of the titular game show, in which Babs Bunny, Montana Max, and Plucky Duck are chosen as the three contestants (Plucky, however, is unable to participate, as he has been scorched by the Kerplowie! special effect of the title screen). Montana Max, determined to win, bribes Blink with money so that he will have no choice but to allow Monty to win and Babs to get hit by various items whenever she gets a "wrong" answer, such as spaghetti, meatballs, and rotten eggs. Buster, however, gets the feeling that Monty is cheating, so he decides to help Babs by getting revenge on Monty. During the second half of the cartoon, he ties Blink up and uses his suit and hair to disguise himself as Fink Winklebunny, with Babs as his assistant, Vanna Pink (a parody of Wheel of Fortune's Vanna White). Together, they torture Monty in various ways as he tries to win the game show (such as dropping a safe on him and having him fall through a trap door). During the end of the cartoon, Blink comes on stage in his underwear to protest Buster and Babs taking over his show. However, Buster tells Blink he is just in time to give the audience a special message. Blink asks, "I am?" and gets hit by a giant weight that says, The End.

In the episode, Europe in 30 Minutes, Blink is the host of the game show, Sloppy Dirty Dare (a parody of the Nickelodeon game show, Double Dare). In the game show, Blink asks Plucky to guess which country is shaped like a boot. Plucky guesses Italy, and is correct. The prizes he wins include a pocket protector, a pair of left-handed scissors, and a trip to Europe with all his friends onboard the fabulous Concorde (who is later revealed to be Concord Condor).

In the Acme Cable TV sketch, Toonywood Squares (a parody of the game show, Hollywood Squares) Blink is the host of the titular game show. Montana Max is the X player, Elmyra Duff is the O player, and the nine toons in the squares are Buster Bunny, Hamton J. Pig, Furrball, Dizzy Devil, Babs Bunny, Shirley the Loon, Gogo Dodo, Plucky Duck, and Byron Basset. Montana Max chooses Gogo Dodo, but Elmyra gets Gogo's square because Monty disagreed with Gogo's opinion on dynamite being allowed in modern TV cartoons. Elmyra chooses Buster and gets his square because she agrees with Buster's opinion on mayonnaise having a higher IQ than her. Monty chooses Byron Basset, who is revealed to be the secret toon, and Blink tells him that if he answers correctly, he will win an all-expense trip to the French Riveria onboard an Acme Jumbo Jet, with a bonus cash prize of $800,000,000, but if he answers incorrectly, he will spend an eternity in Hades with the most despicable people who ever lived. Monty answers incorrectly, because he thought Byron was saying, "Ruff" instead of "Rough" when Blink asked him how Pioneers described life in America's west. Elmyra gets Byron's square, and chooses Babs Bunny to win. Elmyra agrees with Babs on what sound a falling anvil will make, which is a loud "clang" sound, and wins the game with Buster, Babs, and Byron in a diagonal row.
