Acme Cable TV is the seventh episode of the second season of Tiny Toon Adventures, the 79th in production, and the 72nd episode overall.
Synopsis
The episode opens as Buster and Babs have a sneezing and coughing fit. Then Buster welcomes the viewers and says that he and Babs have caught the Taiwan Flu, which causes them to sneeze with an accent and they decided to take it easy and watch TV. Then Babs said that her parents recently got Acme Cable.
Sketches
The Babsy and Buswinkle Show
Buster and Babs get tied to a missile headed for the bay of pigs (whose population are literally anthropomorphic pigs) after falling for a trap by Montana Max and Elmyra Duff. They pass the time by making fun of dated 60's references.
Foot Loops Commercial
When Shirley gets tired of eating granola for breakfast every day; Gogo tells her about a new sickeningly sweet cereal.
Walt Dizzy Presents The Cat Who Thought He Was Hammerhead Shark
Dizzy Devil, as Walt Dizzy presents the story of Furrball being raised by a family of hammerhead sharks.
Flassie
Monty falls off a cliff and Flassie witnesses his fall. She tries to warn Elmyra, but Elmyra doesn't understand her and speaks in barks.
The Ballad of Montana Max
Montana Max loses his mansion because of income tax and has to live with Banjo Possum and his carnivorous family.
Toonywood Squares
Montana Max and Elmyra Duff compete to win on Blink Winkleman's new game show, with Buster, Babs, Plucky, Hamton, Dizzy, Furrball, Gogo, Shirley, and Byron as the nine squares. The winner wins the $800,000,000 prize, and the loser takes a trip to Heck. a parody to the Marshall, Bauman, and Davidson Hollywood Squares.
Grossanne
Buster and Babs (who are shown to be two very fat people) are married. Babs eats all of the food in the refrigerator when she tells Buster that neighbors complained about his snoring (specifically, she told them they said that it sounded like there was a drag race in the bed room). Buster tries to kiss Babs goodbye before he goes to work, only to have both their fat bounce off of each other, causing a cabinet to fall on her head (but not before singing the national anthem).
Bungle Boy Jeans Commercial
Babs is walking out of her hotel while passing Buster. As she passes him, she hails and gets into a taxi. When it drives away, its fumes cause Buster to cough, The taxi stops at the airport, where she boards a private jet. While the plane flies above the ocean, Babs just notices something and did and the scenes leading up to that event go in reverse. She then sees Buster again and asks him if he's wearing Bungle Boy jeans, only to find out from him that he's not wearing any pants. The taxi drives away again, and its fumes cause Buster to cough again.
The Gogosby Show
Gogo (now named Cliff, who is married and a father) is approached by his son, Theo (played by one of his clones), who asks if he could borrow the car. Cliff says yes and gives him a few Acme Pudding Bars for him and his date. After Theo leaves, Claire, (Cliff's wife, played by another of Gogo's clones) wife tells him that their kids are growing up, so Cliff calls central casting to add a cute new daughter to the show. The daughter (played by yet another of Gogo's clones) comes into the house through the chimney. Cliff then gives his new daugther a pudding bar. The sketch ends with Cliff, Claire, and the new Daughter hugging.
Incredible Discoveries:
